HOME!!!!

Alas! I'm home from my long-awaited February break trip down to Disney World! I had an amazing time! In an attempt not to put you to sleep, I'll give you a brief overview. On Saturday, my dad and I drove down to Orlando, had dinner with Lisa, and checked into Port Orleans. Sunday, we went to MGM and Epcot, which was AWESOME!!! We ate lunch at the Italian restaurant in (can you guess??) Italy, but because dad had to leave to go back home, our day was cut short :( Monday, I spent the morning in MGM riding Tower of Terror seven (Yes SEVEN!!) times! It was perfect!!! Then, I met Lisa and her roommates at Magic Kingdom. I loved spending time with all them! They're so nice! :) Hearing them talk about the WDW College Program makes me want to do it so much!! Tuesday was a chill day, but we still had a ton of fun! I had breakfast at Lisa's work (Kona Cafe- YUMMMM), then we headed over to Downtown Disney/ her apartment to hang out. On Wednesday, Lisa and I took Magic Kingdom by storm! We finished everything we wanted to do in six hours!! Crazy! Nevertheless, I had the best time with my beautiful sister, and I miss her more than I can say! I can't wait until she comes home for good on May 14th!
It's a Beautiful Day!! :)

Phew!

Busy busy week! I've had a ton to do this week, but overall, I would call it a success! Some highlights: A 100 on my anatomy test and.... an acceptance to the University of Florida!!! It's so cool knowing that I could be an official Gator in a few short months. I've only have seven more days until I am down in Orlando with Lisa! So here's a fun little thing to keep me occupied until Disney.
Seven rides I'm going to ride (in no particular order except 1 and 2):
1. Tower of Terror- My all time FAVORITE ride. I love the theming, music, and of course the multiple drops :)
2. Splash Mountain- A close second. I love the smell of klumpZ water.
3. Peter Pan
4. Test Track- Who doesn't like being a test dummy?
5. Rock n' Roller Coaster- The only time I feel like a rockstar
6. Expedition Everest- YETIIIII
7. Haunted Mansion- I guess I'll be the 1000 resident
It is a BEATIFUL day! :)

Today is the Day!

Today, I have an interview with a Yale aluma! I'm not nervous at all, which makes me nervous that I'm not nervous. What a conundrum! I've heard the interview is very relaxed, so I'm happy about that. I definitely don't need anymore stress in my life right now. Today is also Super Bowl Sunday!!! I don't really have a specific team I'm cheering for, but I guess if I had to pick it would be the Packers. We always go over to our friend's house, the Singles, and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing them for yet another Super Bowl Sunday with them. Another update: only 13 days until Disney! AHH I can't wait. Reunited and it feels so good.... haha
It's a beautiful day! :)

Two Is My Number

I just got home from the gym, where I ran two miles!!!! I've decided that I want to become better at running, so I'm starting a self-motivated workout plan. My ultimate goal is to run a half-marathon. Will I get there? Who knows. Only time will tell :)
It's a beautiful day! (This time it's legit. Sunny and 50 degrees! Hooray!)

P.s. Only 14 days until I see my beautiful sister, Lisa, at Disney World. WHADUPPPP! Get pumped! I know I am!

Good Morning! The Earth says hello!!

Welcome to my blog!!!!!!! A little bit about me...
I'm a senior at Walton High school, and I love to be active. I'm a men's coxswain at St. Andrew Rowing Club, and I absolutely love what I do. The guys are my best friends, and I love them all! (well.. kind of :) I'm obnoxiously sarcastic, so you'll learn to ride off any rude comments I make. I am 100% in love with Walt Disney World and the Disney corporation. I would love to work there one day, but that comes later. My biggest dream, however, is to attend the University of Notre Dame. Notre Dame is an amazing place, and I would LOVE to be a student there. It's like a second home to me :) again, more on that later. Right now, I'm very stressed because college acceptance letters come back in less than two months! AHHHHHHH! Here's where I've applied:
1. University of Notre Dame
2. Yale
3. Boston College
4. Tulane
5. University of Florida
6. University of Georgia (UGA Honors)
7. Saint Mary's College (Notre Dame, IN)
8. Penn State
9. University of Virginia
Whew! It's a long list, and I feel like it keeps getting longer! Lots of time and money spent on those applications. Hopefully it will all pay off in the end! Until then, I have all the time, and no time at all, to wait.
It's a beautiful day! (not really! It's actually raining and about 33 degrees out. Yuck!)
